Comments:

Thanks to the wonderful education at Carroll, I attended and graduated from Merrimack College and also took courses at other colleges and universities and earned a Master of Divinity Degree at St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary in 1992. I was ordained a deacon in 2007 and I'm involved in prison ministry here in Baltimore. I have also become a pretty good photography. I still use the Latin and French which I learned at Carroll and in addition I also speak some Russian since 25% of my parish are recent immigrants from the former Soviet Union. When in high school who would had thought that I would end up in a Russian church?

In 2015 I became a community chaplain through the Baltimore Police Department. Each month I am expected to devote 20 hours to this, but most months it is closer to 40 hours. It is voluntary, but the rewards are really out of this world. I also see first hand many of the wonderful things our police officers are doing.

I am also a member of the Bishop's Council for the Patriarchal Parishes in the United States for the Russian Orthodox Church. My limited knowledge of Russian is a tremendous help, but my knowledge of Latin has helped me with Russian and I appreciate all the help that Fr. Joseph Keffer OSA has given me. May his memory be eternal.

Dear Father David,

Happy Birthday! God grant you many years.

I like your number of children. I'm always telling people that all the children at church are mine.
